roofless igloo

So yeah its a hole in the snow with blocks piled around it but those walls are 6 feet high! I made a mini fire can and we burnt pine cones and scrap from the trophys tonight. and it was pretty nice. warm, no wind and you can see the stars too.

igloo build for early 2012

woke up and started around 9 and saw the weather was going to be perfect for igloos. nice and wet. sptent 6 hours on this thing non stop except for having to go out and deal with the driveway and the truck. building it by myself is such a physical task that i am pretty close to collapse by the time i am done. this one is a beast. the tallest one i have made yet. about 5 foot on the inside. floor and a door and a stove coming soon hopefully
