little clay wood burning stove

just got this back from  firing to cone 10 . its got some intake vents and a tiny door. i coil built it and its glazed with an iron yellow on the outside and a matte white on the inside. i painted some swirls on there with iron oxide but they didnt show up too much. it reminds me of a little mud temple. it burns really well. too well. the tiny amount of wood i put in fired up really fast and hot and cracked it. i need to really mix up some flamewear clay and make some more of these.

steel box stove

been working on this stove in metal sculpture class. the box is gas welded and there are some intakes that were tigged and the chimney is migged and the ash drawer is tigged and the grate inside is 3 piece and tigged and the outside grill thing is gas welded with a little mig on the outside 2 fins. sorry for the crappy photos. its allmost done.
