i finished the head for the mini hawaiian sling im making out of a carbon golf club shaft. golf is one of those pointless sports so its nice something usefull is happening from one of its products. i turned an aluminum plug and tapped it for a stainless allen head bolt and welded some sharpened stainless rod on there. hopefully will get one of those trout that wont bite a hook before it gets too cold.
