so i cut the bottom out of them so they could cast and i could get the shell out easly. traced out some sheet aluminum and welded the missing pieces in one of them today. im not the most experienced aluminum welder and i was trying out some of that purple tungsten and it was ok. class will be done soon so i have to get this all ground down and polished up very soon. Is my face too close to the weld?
